Almost any bike rider can recount a tale or two of days gone by, of how they always remember being at a certain corner when something happened.
Well, without doubt one name that would be in those thoughts would be David Jeffries. One of a handfull of modern day racers that truely did embody all thats best in any form of bike sport. He could and did try almost all of them, and try isn’t quite the word as he excelled at them all.
This weekend marks the anniversary of his death and this video puts DJ firmly in supermoto halls of fame. RIP
British Supermoto once again tests its metal against the eliments of Blyton Raceway. The circuit better known for Rally Cross has a long history with Supermoto Club racing and now thrusts its way to the big time.
James Addy, a Blyton specialist, returns to racing after missing Rd 2 whilst stuck in Spain. James will push his Mike Wright Racing Ktm to the limit in a bit to maximise his points in the absence of mulitple championship winner Matt Winstanley.
Matthew was on World Championship duty when he was bumped in the back after dropping his Silicone Engineering backed Huskvarna 450 smrr. This weekend he will guide his younger team mates from the side lines.
Phil Gee, the legend of Supermoto, heads the national championship on board the sole Alice Racing Aprilia MXV. Phil has previously tackled the British Championship over many years and hopes to move up a class once his development bike comes true.
